How to configure & identify PII attributes for GDPR, CCPA?

To comply with various regulatory compliance requirements, organizations need to keep a track of all the PII elements used. OvalEdge helps the compliance teams to efficiently classify the PII elements and have them all at a single place.

All the compliance related classifications are configured at the domain.

Step 1: Create a Privacy Domain

Step 2: Go to 9 dots and select configure classification.

Step 3: List the compliance frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.

Step 4: Create the PII terms in the Privacy Domain.

Step 5: Associate at least one PII element to each term.

Step 6: Run AI recommendation algorithms to identify the PII elements and apply the recommendations to the corresponding terms. See More
