Bugs Fixes
The following bugs have been fixed in this release, and the application is working as expected.
Notification
- In the Notifications, previously, clicking on links in the email notifications would redirect users to the homepage if they weren't logged into the application. Now, the links correctly redirect users to the intended location.
Service Desk
- In the Service Desk, if a new request was raised and the user who submitted it was deleted, the request page appeared empty to the approver. This issue has been fixed, and now the approver can view the request details even if the user is deleted.
Note: Approvers won't receive notifications when approving these requests.
Query Sheet
- In the Query Sheet > Dremio Connector, users encountered an error message as “invalid credentials” when executing a query. This issue has been resolved by providing the correct string in the database attribute value.
Advanced Tools
- In Advanced Tools > Build Auto Lineage, previously, custodians encountered an error message stating that only OE_admin can build lineage. This issue has been fixed, and custodians can now build lineage.
- In Advanced Tools > Build Auto Lineage > SSIS Connector, previously, users faced an issue building column-level lineage with a user package. This issue has been fixed, and users can now build column-level lineage properly.
- In Advanced Tools > Build Auto Lineage > Deltalake Unity Catalog Connector, there was an issue where the source code of a 'view' was visible after crawling, causing repeated lineage builds. This issue has been fixed, and now the source code of 'View' is not crawled anymore.
Administration
- In Administration > Connectors > SQL Server Connector, the decimal data type was not supported when users were profiling. This issue has been fixed, and decimal data type is supported during profiling.
- In Administration > Connectors > PowerBI, when crawling reports, if there are multiple inactive columns, the team activates the last inactive column either by using the last modified date or the last metasyncdata at the report and dataset level.
- In Administration > Connectors > PowerBI, report groups were crawled, and a recrawl was scheduled. During the recrawl, users were notified if reports were deleted from the source. This issue has been resolved, and users no longer receive notifications.
- In Administration > Security, when applying default data association to a domain and configuring classification, the default data associations disappear automatically. This issue has been fixed and is now functioning correctly.
- In the Administration > System setting > Others, the content was not appropriate grammatically when selecting the Arabic language as the value for ovaledge.locale. This issue has been resolved, and now the Arabic content is proper and appropriate.
