Bug Fixes

The following bugs have been fixed in this release, and the application is working as expected.

Data Catalog

The reference tab for Codes did not display the references made to other data objects. Now, the issue has been resolved and the reference tab correctly shows the references made to other data objects from the codes.
When applying filters for the 'Status’ column, the applied filter was being displayed multiple times. However, the problem has been fixed, and the system now accurately shows the applied filter for once eliminating the duplication issue that was previously experienced.

Dashboards

Data Lineage Dashboard encountered an issue that prevented users from accessing the Flow View. As a result, users were unable to visualize the data lineage flow within the dashboard. The issue has been successfully resolved and the users can now access and view the Flow View.

Advanced Tools

APIs
- When utilizing the OvalEdge APIs to add code custom fields, there was an issue that resulted in the configured option not being displayed when the multi-select option was not enabled. As a consequence, users were unable to see the single option that had been configured for the code custom field. Now, even when the multi-select option is not enabled, users can view the single option that has been configured without any issues.
Load Metadata from Files
- In Load Metadata from Files, when downloading the Business Glossary 'Template with data' users encountered an issue that prevented them from updating the Term's status (DRAFT, PUBLISH) for specific terms. Consequently, the status of these terms was not accurately reflected within the OE system. The issue has been resolved, and users can now successfully update the Term's status (DRAFT, PUBLISH) in the OE system for all terms.
- Load Metadata from Files | Report Columns | The term details were not updating while uploading the Report Columns template. This issue has been resolved and the term is updated in the Data Catalog.
- Load Metadata from Files, there was an issue where the OE_ADMIN role was supposed to be checked by default, but it was not. This problem has been resolved, and now the default role, OE_ADMIN, is correctly checked by default in the Load Meta Data Files feature.
Administration
- Security
  - In the Administration | Security section, the Databases tab, duplicate schema line items were displayed in the tabular plugin. The issue has been successfully resolved and the duplicate schema line items no longer appear in the tabular plugin.
- Service Desk Templates
  - When attempting to sync service desk tickets into Azure DevOps, the process encountered an error in the jobs even though the ticket is successfully created in Azure DevOps. This inconsistency between ticket creation and job execution leads to confusion. The issue has been resolved and the job logs now display the correct status, ensuring accurate synchronization between the service desk and Azure DevOps.
  - Encountering an issue saving custom templates for New Asset Request. The issue has been resolved, and the custom template for New Asset Request can now be saved without any issues.
- Connector
  - Encountered issues with the POWER BI connector where the queries fetched from the remote source failed to build Lineage. The issue has been resolved, and the lineage can be built now.
  - For DB2 ODBC connector, users encountered a sample profiling issue in the client's environment, where they could not fetch profile results. However, this issue has been resolved and users are able to fetch profile results.
  - Encountered issues with the Databricks connector while building lineage for the crawled dataset, where duplicate objects were observed in the lineage. This issue has been resolved and there are no duplicate objects in the lineage.
  - There was an issue while validating the Azure SQL with Azure Ad authentication connection. This issue has been resolved and the connection is validating.
  - There was an issue where data was not visible for S3 Parquet files that contained STRUCT column types. However, this issue has been resolved, and now the data within S3 Parquet files with STRUCT column types is visible as expected.
  - For the Power BI Connector, the mandatory (*) symbol was missing for the Username and Password fields in the Add Connector Details pop-up. The issue has been resolved and the Username and Password fields now correctly display the mandatory (*) symbol, indicating that these fields must be filled out.
  - While Profiling S3 file the job is getting Killed, this issue has been resolved by performing profiling without duck DB.
