Release6.0 Migration Process

This article provides information about the migration process which needs to be followed by the customers who are migrating from the existing release version to the latest Release6.0 version.

Migrating to OvalEdge Release6.0 requires the same process as migrating to Release5.2 version along with the execution of the following advanced job.

Advanced Job:

“Migrate Data To Denormalized Tables” - The purpose of this job is to migrate the data associated with the Tags and Terms.

Example: If the Tag or Term is mapped to certain Tables and Reports in the older Release5.2 version and if the client is migrating to the Release6.0 version, then this advance job (Migrate Data To Denormalized Tables) needs to run post migration to fetch the data (Tables and Reports) associated with the Tags and Terms to Release6.0 version.
