Data Quality Service Desk

If the user has any concern with the data quality of a Table, Column, File, Report or Business Glossary Term, they can raise a ticket from the Data Quality Tab in the service desk module or through any request modes as shown below:

  • Application header
  • Nine dot feature

Some of the most common data quality-related issues faced by analysts are:

  • Duplicates
  • Incomplete Data
  • Inconsistent Formats
  • Null values in the table column

Any Data Quality (DQ) Issue requested on a data object, is approved by a STEWARD of that data asset group. Additionally, users who have Admin rights can also approve the Data Quality issues.

Data quality issues can be reported through two ways:

  1. Data Catalog
  2. Governance Catalog
